Founders’ Brook

If you want to see where it all started, visit the newly upgraded Founders’ Brook Park off of Boyd’s Lane.  July 21, 2013 was day of celebrating the founders who gathered around the brook in the early days of Portsmouth.  When you visit you will find a shaded glade with memorial benches, a brook with a small waterfall, an herb garden in honor of Anne Hutchinson and Mary Dyre and a copy of the compact which was the basis of Portsmouth government.
